Rare Brooksville, WV Stoneware Advertising Canning Jar, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with semi-rounded "wax sealer" rim, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising, "J.P. KNIGHT. / DEALER IN / GENERAL MERCHANDISE / BROOKSVILLE. W. VA." Freehand stripe decoration above and below. A chip and minor wear to interior of wax sealer rim. Otherwise excellent condition. H 10".
