Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with tooled accents, decorated with a two-stemmed clover plant extending up the front. Additional clover decoration to collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A 1 3/4" rim chip on reverse. A 1/2" in-the-firing surface chip to reverse. A minor in-the-firing contact mark to front. H 8 5/8".
