Rare Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Baltimore, MD Advertising, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, impressed with the cobalt-highlighted advertising, "A.H. SCHULZ / GROCER / NO 316 ALICE ANNA ST / BALTIMORE." Decorated with three groups of cobalt swags around the shoulder. Excellent condition with a few small rim chips. H 8 3/4".
