One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WHITES' BINGHAMTON," NY State origin, circa 1860, highly-ovoid pitcher with flared collar and tall, squared rim molding, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a poppy flower accented with spots. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. A 1 1/2" x 1 1/8" flake to interior of rim near spout. Some wear to cobalt. Some minor staining. H 9 3/4".
