Fine Glazed Redware Jug, North Shore, MA origin, late 18th or early 19th century, ovoid jug with footed base, tooled shoulder, and ridged handle, the lead-glazed surface featuring olive coloration with profuse orange-and-red spotting throughout. Outstanding and dramatic color scheme. Provenance: From a fifty-year private collection. Base chips. Some small glaze flakes to surface. Wear to handle. A tiny spout nick. H 7 1/2".
