Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Manhattan, NY origin, early 19th century, ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, decorated with a flower blossom composed of numerous scalloped strokes. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with various in-the-firing pings to surface and shallow chipping to bottom edge. H 15 1/2".
