Scarce Five-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Chicken Pecking Corn Decoration, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th century, cylindrical jug with tapered spout, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of a chicken pecking kernels of corn from a stylized ground, applied over Bristol slip. Spout chips. A 5" vertical line to left of chicken. Minor in-the-firing iron pings. H 18 1/2".
