Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, ovoid jar with footed base, tall collar, and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with horizontal tulip motifs. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals along with a wavy line of cobalt below each handle. One base chip. A small rim chip and two minor rim nicks. H 12 1/8".
