Very Rare Iron-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1810, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooling to shoulder and collar, the collar dipped in reddish-brown iron slip, the entire surface covered in a clear salt glaze. Appealing, early-style form. One of a few Baltimore pitchers of this style known. A small in-the-firing rim chip. Chipping to base, most of which occurred in the making and is glazed over. H 14 1/4".
