Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Pittsburgh, PA Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1875,, ovoid jug with tooled spout, featuring the stenciled advertising "FOELL & ALT / CORNER SARAH / & 26TH STS / SOUTH SIDE / PITTS." Graduated freehand stripe decoration to shoulder. Freehand "2" flanked by dashes at base. Freehand stripe below. A large area of restoration to right side of jug.
