Four Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Bottles, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, one with cobalt-decorated shoulder and spout, stamped "LEMON BEER / DEFRIESET;" one with cobalt-decorated shoulder and spout, stamped "L. BEARD;" one with cobalt-decorated top and cobalt-highlighted mark, "A.L. WALKER."; and one with cobalt-decorated top, unmarked. Lemon beer bottle with two faint 2 1/2" vertical lines at base, spout chips, and light surface wear. L. Beard bottle with small pings to front, staining, shallow chipping and wear at edge of shoulder, and some wear to edge of spout. Walker bottle in excellent condition with a minor in-the-firing base chip and some light staining. Unmarked bottle with light surface wear and staining. H (of tallest) 10 3/4".
