Two Stoneware Articles, American, 19th century, a rare four-gallon jug-form cistern filter with original opening at base and numerous original piercings to underside, stamped "WEST TROY / N.Y. / POTTERY;" paired with a ten-gallon jug-form cooler with open handles and circular opening at base, featuring a slip-trailed "10" underscored by looping line designs. Includes original cork. West Troy piece in excellent, as-made condition with a shallow in-the-firing flake to top of spout. Cooler missing bunghole, glued crack at base on one handle, with large reglued section to spout on reverse. H (of cooler) 21".
