Two Strasburg, VA Redware Flowerpots, circa 1875-1890, a large-sized, ovoid-form flowerpot with attached saucer and coggled edges, decorated with two large copper-glazed floral motifs over a slip-coated surface, attributed to Solomon Bell, Strasburg, VA; paired with a tapered flowerpot with attached saucer and coggled edges, decorated with manganese-glazed floral motifs, stamped "J. EBERLY & CO. / STRASBURG, VA.." Unsigned flowerpot with 3/4" hole added to underside, a 1 1/4" rim chip, other minor rim wear, and a faint 2" hairline from rim. Eberly flowerpot in rarely-found, excellent condition with minor wear to rim of flowerpot and saucer.H (of taller) 10 5/8".
