Small-Sized Stoneware Canning Jar with Stenciled Cobalt Flowering Urn Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and recessed "wax sealer" rim, decorated with a stenciled design of an open-handled urn bearing a bouquet of flowers. Reverse of rim with a tiny chip and short line. Three tiny nicks to inner wax sealer rim. A small chip to underside at edge. A very minor, glazed-over base nick to front. A miniscule base nick to front. H 6".
