Rare Pittsburgh, PA Stoneware Advertising Bowl, Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, ovoid bowl with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising, "From / Edward Heazleton, / No. 18 Diamond. / Pittsburgh. Pa." Freehand stripe decoration above and below. Rare form. A 3 1/4" x 1" flake to underside at edge. Heavy chipping to molding at shoulder. A thin crack across underside, continuing 1 3/4" up reverse. Interior of rim with a minor chip and wear. H 5 1/2" ; Diam. 9 1/4".
