Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Face Jug with Rock Teeth, Signed "Lanier Meaders," Cleveland, GA origin, circa 1970, ovoid jug with applied facial features including glazed kaolin eyes with black-slip pupils, rounded cheeks, and open mouth with rock teeth. Surface covered in an olive-c0lored alkaline glaze. Underside incised with Lanier Meaders signature. Very nice condition with two minor chips to one ear. H 9".
