Rare "Frogskin-Glazed" Stoneware Canning Jar, Stamped "WM. HARE / WILMINGTON DEL," circa 1870, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, narrow collar, and flattened rim, the surface dipped in Albany slip and covered in a sporadic salt glaze. Rare glaze and form. A chip to underside at edge. H 7 3/4".
