Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Mid-Atlantic origin, 19th century, all of cylindrical form; a one-gallon jar with swag-and-hanging-flower motif, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840; a one-gallon jar with swag decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875; and a two-gallon jar with unusual flower bud decoration, attributed to Ralph J. Grier, Mt. Jordan Pottery, Chester County, PA, circa 1880. Floral-decorated Baltimore jar with hairlines to underside, continuing onto base. Swag-decorated Baltimore jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Attributed Grier jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition.
