Extremely Rare Stoneware Bauquet Syrup Jug, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875, squat-shaped jug in the "ship chandler's" style, featuring the impressed and cobalt-highlighted advertising, "WILSON.PALMER.&CO / BAUQUET.SYRUP / BALTIMORE MD." Highly unusual subject matter for a form of early cocktail syrup known as a bouquet syrup. Missing handle. A small rim chip and minor rim nick. H 8".
