One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied tab handles, deorated with a large swag-and-hanging-flower motif on the front and reverse. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A 1 3/8" rim chip. A small, in-the-firing base chip. Two small in-the-firing chips to underside at edge.
