One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Slip-Trailed Cobalt Decoration, attributed to William Morgan, possibly in Partnership with Thomas Amoss, Baltimore, MD, circa 1825, cylindrical form with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated four times around the shoulder in bold, slip-trailed cobalt with a hanging floral motif. A Y-shaped line on underside, forming a tight spider line that extends partway up body of jar.
