Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled rim, decorated with swags flanking a fan-shaped floral motif. Swag decoration to spout and collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Significant chips to base. Loss to spout. A 3" hairline to left of spout. A few base chips, one with a 1" line descending from it. A 5/8" crack to top of rim. Staining to base.
