Two Stoneware Crocks with Cobalt Chicken Pecking Corn Decorations, NY State origin, circa 1875, a four-gallon crock with slip-trailed chicken pecking corn motif, stamped "OTTMAN BRO'S / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," paired with a three-gallon crock with slip-trailed chicken pecking corn motif, attributed to Brady & Ryan, Ellenville, NY, circa 1885. Ottman Bro's crock with rim chips, salt drips to surface, and some spots of staining. Other crock with water glass staining to interior, light water glass staining to exterior, traces of old varnish to surface, a 2 1/2" inverted fork-shaped line to front, and an in-the-firing contact mark (some small surface chips) near base on reverse,
