Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Philadelphia, PA origin, 19th century, all of cylindrical form; a two-gallon jar with chainlink decoration and rare two-gallon capacity mark within a heart-shaped border, possibly Henry Harrison Remmey, circa 1830; a one-gallon jar with cobalt leaf decoration, stamped "R.C.R. / PHILA.," Richard C. Remmey, circa 1875; and a half-gallon jar with floral decoration, attributed to Henry Harrison Remmey, circa 1850. Two-gallon jar with a 1 1/2" flake to underside at edge, a minor chip to underside at edge, and a smooth in-the-firing contact mark to each side. One-gallon jar with rim chips and a 5 1/2" vertical hairline to side of jar. Half-gallon jar with a 5 3/4" crack from rim, a minor rim nick, a minor, glazed-over base chip, and a spot of staining to one side.
