Scarce Small-Sized Spittoon with Cobalt Decoration, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1885, cylindrical form with carved semi-circular opening at shoulder and narrow circular opening on top, decorated around the body and top with a groups of cobalt swags. Unusual size. Heavy chipping around base. Otherwise excellent condition. H 2 5/8" ; Diam. 5 3/8".
