Shenandoah Valley Redware Tankard Pitcher, Stamped "S. BELL & SON. / STRASBURG," circa 1890, cylindrical form with footed base, tooled shoulder, and slightly-flared rim, the surface dipped in white slip and further covered in an old white paint. Impressed at shoulder on reverse with S. Bell & Sons maker's mark. Wear to paint. Otherwise excellent condition. H 9 3/4".
