Very Rare Diminutive Glazed Redware Sugar Bowl with Marbled Slip Decoration, probably Hagerstown, MD, early 19th century, ovoid form with narrow, footed base and horizontal open handles, decorated with marbled white and copper slip over a brown slip ground. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Exceptional form with strong decoration. Rim chips. One base chip. H 2 1/8" ; Diam. 3 1/2".
