Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "F. STETZENMEYER & / G. GOETZMAN," Rochester, NY origin, circa 1853-1860, ovoid jug with prominent, semi-squared spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a tulip with heavily-striped details to the blossom and leaves. Slip-trailed "2" to spout. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some minor staining, very minor surface wear, and a minor in-the-firing ping to front.
