Rare Rustic Pottery Presentation Mug, Signed "JF," John Fritz, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1890, molded in the form of an oak tree with branch handle bearing leaves and acorns. Original painted surface. Molded banner at shoulder with painted name, "W. MAURER." Interior covered in a reddish-brown glaze. Incised "JF" on underside. Minor chips. H 4 1/2".
