One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with footed base and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a brushed swag and hanging flower motif. Swag decoration to rim and spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a small in-the-firing contact mark to reverse.
