One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Pruntytown, WV origin, circa 1870, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and thin squared rim, decorated with a brushed design of three different flowers connected at the stem. Wavy freehand stripe above. The employment of three differently-styled blossoms on the same jar is unusual in this pottery's work. Excellent condition with minor chips.
