Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "BURGER & LANG. / ROCHESTER, N.Y.," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with flared collar and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of a flower, inscribed "2" at the center of the blossom. Brushed cobalt highlight to maker's mark. One handle with a thin crack and tiny chip. Otherwise excellent condition.
