Rare Stoneware Canning Jar with Incised Pottery Price List, Ohio River Valley origin, possibly WV, circa 1870, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and flared rim, incised from top-to-bottom with a list of various stoneware forms, including jugs, jars, churns, butter pots, and qt cans, followed by a list of their corresponding prices. Another side of the jar includes a mathematical addition problem for an order. An additional mathematics problem is incised on the underside. A 2" crack on underside, extending 4 3/4" up body of jar. A tiny nick to interior of rim. H 9".
