One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "H. MYERS," Henry Remmey & Henry H. Remmey at Henry Myers Baltimore Stoneware Manufactory, Baltimore, MD, circa 1825, ovoid jar with footed base, flared collar, and applied tab handles, decorated with a boldly-brushed garland motif on the front and reverse. Cobalt drape motif under each handle and highlights to tops of handles. Two rim chips and a few minor rim nicks. A 3 3/8" shallow in-the-firing flake to base on front. Hairlines on underside, continuing onto base, including a long horizontal hairline at base.
