Group of Six Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Bottles, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, all with cobalt-highlighted tops; one stamped "BF & CC HALEY / CALIFORNIA POP BEER / 1895;" one stamped "W-TOLEMAN;" one stamped "JONES WALTHAM / BOTTLE NOT SOLD / 1854;" one stamped "HANCOCK & MELVIN / BEER;" one stamped "MC.HEALE;" and one stamped "VINCENT & HATHAWAY." California Pop Beer bottle with some faint crazing to base area. Dated 1854 bottle with two chips to bottom edge of spout, some light surface, and a minor base nick. Vincent & Hathaway and MC.Heale bottle with some light surface wear. All in otherwise excellent condition. H (of California Pop Beer bottle) 9 1/2".
