Three Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, mid 19th century, a one-gallon ovoid jug with slip-trailed floral motif, stamped "WM E. WARNER / WEST-TROY," New York State origin; a two-gallon jar with elaborate slip-trailed looping line design, stamped "W.H. FARRAR / GEDDES, NY"; and a three-gallon jar with cobalt floral and freehand "3" decoration, stamped "CHOLLAR DARBY & CO. / CORTLAND." Warner jug with a small Y-shaped line to shoulder on reverse, a red ink notation on underside, a small in-the-firing contact mark to front, some light fry to cobalt, and a Y-shaped crack at base. Farrar jar with fry to cobalt and some water glass staining. Cortland jar in very nice condition with two rim chips, shallow chipping to interior of rim, and a minor base chip.
