Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, New York State origin, mid 19th century, a one-gallon ovoid jar with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "W.H. FARRAR & CO / GEDDES. N.Y," with a two-gallon jug with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "L.&B.G. CHACE / SOMERSET," MA origin. Farrar in very nice condition with a small chip to interior of rim, two minor chips to inner rim for lid, two small in-the-firing iron pings to surface, and a small glazed-over base chip. Chace jug with crazing to spout and shoulder area as well as a hairline extending from spout shoulder.
