Rare Group of Five North Carolina Pottery Ephemera Items, circa 1935-1941, including a 48-page catalog for "J.B. COLE'S POTTERY / STEEDS, N.C." with images of Nell Cole Graves and Wayman Cole at the potter's wheel and many pages with images of ware for sale, inscribed by owner in pencil, dated January 15, 1941; a small catalog for "hand made POTTERY by NORTH STATE / SANFORD, N. CAROLINA" with images of a potter at the wheel and various wares for sale; two "JUGTOWN WARE" pamphlets from Jacques Busbee, Steeds, N.C., pencil-dated 1935 and 1941, with printed image titled "This is Marthy Jane Making [chicken] Salt-Shakers;" an "A NEW WAY for OLD Jugs" pamphlet by Juliana R. Busbee, Steeds, NC, pencil-dated 1941. All in excellent condition. J.B. Cole's Pottery catalog with pencil notation on front. Busbee pamphlet from 1935 with pen notation on reverse, "About 60 miles from Chapel Hill". Dimensions (of Cole catalog): 9 7/8" x 7 1/16".
