One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "C. CRAFTS & CO / Whately. Mass," circa 1845-1854, cylindrical jug with semi-squared spout, decorated with a stylized floral motif. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Excellent condition with a small base chip and a slightly-slumped spout.
