Rare Small-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug with Albion, NY Advertising, NY State origin, circa 1870, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout decorated with a stylized floral motif extending up the front. Shoulder impressed with the cobalt-highlighted advertising, "MANUFACTURED / FOR / G??? & FROO?? / ALBION.N.Y." Excellent, essentially as-made condition with an in-the-firing chip to underside and some salt residue to underside. H 7 1/4".
