Six-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES. / GREENSBORO, PA", circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with Hamilton & Jones maker's stenciling surrounded by stenciled foliate designs and an arch of triangles. Stenciled "6" flanked by flourishes at shoulder. Residue to interior. A small salt drip to front. Some surface wear.
