Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / GREENSBORO / PA.," circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim designed to hold a lid, the front featuring T.F. Reppert maker's stenciling with a stenciled sunrise motif at the center. Straight and wavy cobalt stripe decoration to shoulder. Base with freehand "2," flanked by flourishes and underscored by a stripe. Some wear to cobalt and edge of inner rim for lid.
