Rare Miniature Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Floral Decoration, probably Moses Tyler, Albany, NY, circa 1830, ovoid churn with semi-squared rim and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a brushed design of a flower emanating from a curved stem. Handles brushed over completely with cobalt slip. The floral motif on this churn essentially matches those seen on a number of signed pieces of standard size by Albany, NY potter, Moses Tyler. Exceptional size. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 4 1/4".
