Glazed Redware Mug, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'", PA origin, circa 1850-1880, flared mug with footed base, tooled shoulder, and ribbed strap handle, decorated throughout with manganese sponging and covered in a clear lead glaze. Underside impressed with John Bell maker's mark. Three thin cracks from rim, measuring approximately 2 1/2", 2 1/4", and 2". Wear to rim and base. Some light wear to surface and handle. H 4 3/8".
