Near Pair of Glazed Redware Jugs, New England origin, early to mid 19th century, both of similar ovoid form with distinctive handle construction, each covered in a lead glaze over a reddish-orange ground. Smaller jug with a 7/8" base chip and some minor wear surface wear. Larger jug in essentially as-made condition with two in-the-firing lines to base of handle and some minor surface wear. H (of smaller jug) 9 1/4" ; H (of larger jug) 10".
