Two Glazed Redware Jugs, Western New York State or Maine origin, second quarter 19th century, both of ovoid form with differently-styled spouts and handle placements, each covered in a lead-based glaze with oatmeal coloration over a reddish ground. Smaller jug with professionally-restored handle, as well as some minor unrestored spout wear and a few base chips. Larger jug with handle chips, in otherwise excellent condition. H (of smaller jug) 8".
