Four-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to James or William "Leet" Hamilton, Greensboro, PA, circa 1850, ovoid jar with tooled banding, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with three large, open-centered tulips emanating from a series of graduated leaves. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Most of left handle missing. Loss to right handle. A few minor rim nicks and minor wear to top of rim. A minor base chip.
