One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "B.C. MILBURN / ALEXA", Alexandria, VA origin, circa 1850, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with an elaborate slip-trailed design of conjoined tulips surrounding the shoulder. Strong, thickly-applied decoration. Jar is broken into sections and reglued. Chipping around base.
