Two Glazed Redware Jars, American, 19th century, a one-gallon ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim, the surface covered in a lead glaze over an orange ground, Galena, IL origin; paired with a cylindrical, lead-glazed jar with colorful green, orange, and red mottled surfacee, probably Northeastern U.S. Galena jar in excellent condition with two small base chips, minor wear to top of rim, and some light wear to interior. Other jar in excellent condition with a 5/8" in-the-firing lime ping to one side. H (of Galena jar) 9 7/8".
