Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, second half 19th century, a two-gallon churn with two-stemmed floral motif, stamped "EDMANDS & CO", Charlestown, MA origin; paired with a two-gallon jug with brushed and slip-trailed floral motif, probably New Jersey origin. Churn with a large filled and colored rim chip on reverse, some light wear to inner rim for lid, and some in-the-firing iron pings. Jug with a 1 1/4" flake to underside at edge, and some light staining.
